“寻根之旅”夏令营每日心照（7月14日）

At first going to this summer camp was never at my best interest, and I thought it was going to be boring from all the time that I have to spend studying. But then it turned out to be one of the unforgettable moment in my life. In the same time, I also got to fill my knowledge and experience from all the people that I met in this summer camp.
In Jinan University, I learnt lots of things that I cannot learn back there in my home country. I got to expand my knowledge of China especially Guangzhou and their cultures and language from what they have shared with us in such a short amount of time.
Guangzhou has nestled it’s way into my heart with the memories shared, the stories told and the friends I made.

This was my first time to Guangzhou, China for a summer camp. I was actually forced by my dad to go here, and at first I didn’t like it.
I just feel that I want to run away and go home. But the second day, I actually like staying in here. I think it is such a modern country, and it is really nice. I stayed in a university dorm, the Jinan daxue huawen xue yuan dorm, our room is so nice, it is like a hotel already! The beds are nice, the bathroom is clean, nice couch to sit and even free amenities are provided! The University has a green and nice environment, there’s lots of nature many trees and plants which gives us more oxygen! This summer camp was really nice, I learned so many things, the activities are so fun, we get to choose what activities we wanted. The food is really scrumptious as well. We had so many breakfast, dinner and lunch menu choices, my favourite activity in the camp is the Chinese calligraphy. As I love to draw and paint. Last but not least we have awesome teachers, they are so kind and caring to us and really want to thank them for sharing knowledge to us for these 2 weeks! I also made a bunch of friends from different nations and countries. I would say this was really the best camp ever, and I will miss China!这是我去过最好的营,我会想念中国的!
